Five AMAZING secrets to a
great running computer:

  1. Use good antivirus software, and keep it updated (call Dave for FREE recommendations on antivirus software 602-515-1733*).
  2. Keep your operating system (if Windows) up to date.
  3. Educate yourself about where not to go on the Internet - don't go there if it doesn't feel right. If you are not sure, call Dave at 602-515-1733 - he gives free advice*!
  4. Backup ALL of your data on a regular basis (to multiple media) AND if possible, keep at least one copy off site in case of natural or man-made disaster (online backups are ok, too).
  5. Remove the side of your desktop case once every 3-6 months (more often in a very dusty environment) and use a can of air to blow the dust out of the case, cpu heatsink and fan, and PSU (power supply unit) fan assembly. NOTE: Never use a compressor!! Too much air pressure will destroy the fan bearings.
